Attorney Francis J. Hurley

Francis J. Hurley, along with Paul J. Gannon, formed Gannon & Hurley, P.C. in March, 1996. Gannon & Hurley, P.C. was an out growth of the partnership of Costello, Gannon & Hurley, which was formed in 1991.

Attorney Hurley grew up in South Boston and currently resides in Walpole, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Suffolk University and New England School of Law. Attorney Hurley was admitted to the Federal Bar and Massachusetts Bar in 1988. Attorney Hurley previously was employed by the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. Attorney Hurley has been in private practice for the last seventeen years concentrating his practice in all areas of civil litigation, worker's compensation, social security, disability and civil and criminal appellate work.

Attorney Hurley has argued numerous cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. In his most recent celebrated case Commonwealth vs. Pavao, Attorney Hurley reversed a murder conviction based on misstatement of evidence by the prosecution in the closing argument.
